And Saturday is MORE than the typically great Rockin' the Ribjoint night at Ten Ten, as we celebrate LISA FENNELL's birthday! Ten Ten will provide a glass of bubbly (or non-alcoholic sparkling) to all of Lisa's friends coming for her birthday. She is one of the strongest singers in Vancouver, and will be performing tracks from her new album- we have a rocking night planned, including some jazz and blues, and a full set of Adele favorites....
This will be a full-on Birthday Bash, and the last music filled weekend before the Ten Ten New Years Eve bash!

This December marks two years and three New Year's Eves at Ten Ten Tapas! It has been a great place for me and a good thing for the music scene in Vancouver....
I am at Ten Ten tonight, but it is closed to the public for a private buyout Christmas Party. We are back to normal next week, Dec 19, but will be closed the following two Saturdays, as they immediately follow the holidays. Dec 19 is Lisa Fennell's birthday and we are going to have a party! She'll sing (of course) and we invite you all to come join in the festivities!
The entertainment at Ten Ten Tapas is happening pretty regularly on Thursdays with Up and Coming Artists; on Romance Night Fridays with Rossi on nuevo flamenco guitar; me getting jazzy with guests on Saturdays, and R & B on Sundays....

Tonight is rather special as we unveil the new Head Chef!
~Introducing Chef Paul Stephen~
We are excited to have Executive Chef Paul Stephen heading up our Kitchen Team at Ten Ten Tapas.
Paul brings over 18 years of experience to the table with both casual and classical fine dining training at Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill, La Terrazza Italian Restaurant, The Fairmont Hotel and the The Flying Pig.
He worked his way up to the Head Chef position by the young age of 24 and was recipient of the “Best Fine Dining” restaurant outside Vancouver award 5 years in a row at the Saint Street Grill in Port Moody. Paul was Executive Chef of an international wine & tapas restaurant in Bangkok where he was known for his creative tapas and for his passion in the kitchen.
Chef Paul’s approach is a balance of simplicity and creativity. Fresh/seasonal/local ingredients are essential and everything is made-from-scratch. You can taste the difference when an abundance of love has gone into the preparation of your meal.
