Maui Jazz Festival Update

I've done a couple of pre-festival promo shows so far and jammed with the Prince of the Marsalis family, trombonist Delfeayo, and sax star Javon Jackson.

Full show tomorrow- I'll do my set of punchy originals- and a big jam afterward with Larry Coryell and Joe Lewis Walker.

I'm at the Maui Jazz Fest for a Sept 10 show, and I have a great band to work with over there, including Paul Marchetti, Benny Uyetake, Dave Graber, and Brian Cuomo. Larry Coryell, Javon Jackson, Delfeayo Marsalis, and many more are also on the bill!

I finally got around to editing a couple of the many cool songs my band and I played at Frankie's in July. 
That show was a nice mix of smooth and classic tunes.... the only thing we couldn't fit in was some of my NOLA inspired material!

End of summer concert blowout

The great folks at the Bentall Towers 1-4, and Canderel Property Management have blessed Vancouver yet another year with the FREE TGIF Summer Concert Series, and it winds up tomorrow, Friday!

A fantastic show is in store and it is easy to find: on Dunsmuir between Burrard and Thurlow, 12 noon to 1:30 pm! Come on down and celebrate!

This Thursday I'm playing my last New Orleans Mardi Party this summer at the Fairview Pub, 7 pm, 898 West Broadway, Vancouver.

I'll return to the Fairview Sept 15, after I return from festival dates including the Maui Jazz and Blues Fest and the Laughlin Live Fest in Nevada, then perform there every second Thursday of the month.
