Well, I am getting some action it seems! It can be a slow arc, but also can be long lasting exposure...

My tune Charmed Life from 'Open Invitation' finally cracked the Billboard charts, debuting at #28, and is now at #24.

A lot of credit goes to co-composer and producer Lew Laing Jr., who helped make this tune a hit, with his hip production skills and in-the-pocket playing. Bob Baldwin delivers a concise yet playful solo...

We are off and running, this will be my seventh Billboard hit, following Rockin' The Ribjoint, Starpixie, Lock It Up, Ready When You Are, Propulsion, and a two top fives as featured artist on Bob Baldwin's Seabreeze and Chameleon 3000....

Three Days of the Condor

Does this look like a condor to you? No?! Then let's talk turkey and 3 days of great music!

Tonite, Friday, I return to the Pinnacle On The Pier, jazzing it up for a 7 pm show, featuring L J Mounteney. A great lounge and the Night Market is right there, Lonsdale @ Esplanade North Vancouver.

Tomorrow, Saturday I roost at Ten Ten Tapas for a 7 pm show, with guest performers. They are offering a chef designed, multicourse Thanksgiving style dinner special as well. On the seawall at 1010 Beach Ave, Free parking down the lane along the highrise.

Sunday I perform and host the wildly successful Jazz On The Bay  7-9 pm Jam Session at the iconic Sylvia Hotel @ English Bay.
Sit-ins welcome, and the hotel is also offering a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

So save Monday for Canadian Thanksgiving and hanging around home..... come eat turkey and get your jazz on!

Calling all musicians!

Sunday night just became the most fun night of the week! Singers and musicians, get in some long overdue hot licks at the iconic Sylvia Hotel (Beach Ave @ Gilford), get a free drink and try their fabulous prime rib.... A great place for a date night too!

This is the new Music Central, starting Oct 2, and ongoing every Sunday 7-9 pm, with free parking below, lots of backing and backline (keys, drums, amps), and lots of perks. Let me know if you are planning on coming (preferably) or just drop in...

What a busy week for me, music events and new locations I know you will want to attend!

WEDNESDAY SEPT 21 I am part of a really fun Italian themed event at the famed Ronnie G's in White Rock at 6pm. Joining me will be Mimi and Ikuko. The food and fun will be splendida~

FRIDAY SEPT 23  I will be haunting the chi-chi lounge at the Pinnacle Hotel in North Vancouver. I will have featured artist Lisa Dunn joining me, on the heels of her recent hot radio charting album. Great atmosphere and food! Lonsdale@Esplanade 7 pm

SATURDAY SEPT 24  I get to treat my downtown fans to the patio and seawall locale of my usual Saturday haunt Ten Ten Tapas at 7 pm. Always great vibes and many special guests....

SUNDAY SEPT 25 is something special with my six-piece band at Northwood United Church Jazz Vespers.

On board with me are LJ Mounteney (vocals), Nathen Aswell (bass), Jason Decouto (piano), Adam Rohrlick (guitar), Nino DiPasquale (drums). A glorious time will be had by all!
