FRIENDS and ASSOCIATES: CALL TO ACTION

Hi Friends,

There is a monster two highrise development proposed for our area at Boundary and Hastings, which exceeds height and density mandates by triple.
This Hastings corridor by the Cassiar Connector CANNOT withstand the extra traffic and street parking stress and is not supported with enough public transit. This density has only been allowed for intersections near SkyTrain stations in the past. We need your help!

The developer PCI will receive rents in perpetuity but are only willing to offer 94parking stalls on 200+ units. The Hastings corridor has been limited to 5 storeys for 50 years, and provides an unobstructed view-cone down Hastings to the elegant Vancouver skyline.

Few if any amenities are offered by the developer PCI, who seems to ram through every development with City Hall, who has never rejected any of their proposals. City Hall has been tallying ALL comments, and the developer's insiders have orchestrated a campaign to deluge City Hall with Comments of Support, so can you please take a minute right away to make a (hopefully) OPPOSED comment which will help not only us but all residents of Hastings-Sunrise.

Of course, we all want more rental housing, but the impact on this (our) neighbourhood will be extreme and untenable.

PLEASE HELP WITH THIS CAUSE, there is a time limit.

You do not have to be a resident of Hastings-Sunrise to help this cause, so jump in!
PLEASE HELP US AND OUR NEIGHBOURS BY COMMENTING ONLINE AT:

 Thanks in advance!
