It gets pretty busy this time of year, so I try to make hay while the sun (almost) shines!

I have new additions to my Event Calendar, so read below, even if you saw my last post.... hope you can come to something!

This week has been a busy one for live gigs and managing buzz on my new single Propulsion from my upcoming album Open Invitation. It seems that I have to look further and further ahead to prep for each new bend in the road - lots of great gigs to look forward to! Keep in mind some of these upcoming events: 

Today I have a sweet corporate party for my longtime clients at The Law Society.....

Then from 9:30 pm -12:30 am, I will be at the Hard Rock Casino  again for more funky stuff in the Unlisted Lounge, and I will be unveiling some new tunes from my upcoming album...

This Saturday daytime I will be part of a the Wesgroup Christmas  Event at Brewery District  in New West – 200 block of E. Columbia Stree  I have a full band and will provide a jazzy Christmas show from 11-1 pm. All proceeds to Royal Columbia Hospital Foundation.

Saturday eve Dec 6, I am NOT at the Culinary Award Winning  Ten Ten Tapas  (my usual Saturday haunt), but I will be with Alfie Zappacosta  at Blue Frog Performance studio. He is a great performer, and is a bonafide 80's star!

Friday Dec 12, I will be part of the fantastic Amanda Wood Christmas Show at the Kay Meek Theatre, where proceeds are donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Amanda has started an honoured tradition with her exciting and well paced Christmas Shows.

Saturday Dec 13, I will be Rockin' the Ribjoint at Ten Ten Tapas 7 pm

Tuesday Dec 16, I will be at the Robson Square Ice Rink with the swingin', yet heartwarming Arntzen Family & The Hot Mamas outdoor Christmas Show.

Saturday Dec 20, I will be Rockin' the Ribjoint at Ten Ten Tapas 7 pm

Friday Dec 26 (evening) and Sunday Dec 28 (afternoon) I am at The Hard Rock Casino where it just gets funkier and funkier!

Saturday Dec 27, I will be Rockin' the Ribjoint at Ten Ten Tapas 7 pm

NEW YEARS EVE will be a real blowout at Ten Ten Tapas, with two seatings, a fantastic menu, and special guests including soul-star Billy Dixon, pianist/singer Rob Weaver, and the powerhouse vocalist Lisa Fennell. Reservations a MUST 604-689-7800

Heartfelt Wishes to all my US based friends and fans on this Thanksgiving! 

For everything that makes us disgruntled, there are ten things to be thankful for... attitude of gratitude!

FYI, I am in Canada at the moment, and Up North we have Thanksgiving on US Columbus Day- so I usually miss out on my big pre-December feast and family fest ;(

This Friday at 9:30 pm I am at the Hard Rock Casino, and I will be unveiling some new tunes from my upcoming album...

This Saturday I will be Rocking The Ribjoint at Ten Ten Tapas at 7 pm, and I will have guest artists. Don't forget the $20 Ribs and Beer/Wine special... worth the trip all by itself!

This Sunday I am at the Hard Rock again, this time in the afternoon, from 1 -5 pm. Big month end party!

This is one of those 'not sure if it is a long weekend' situations..... some people go out of town, some stay home and chill, and some venture forth and experience life. Always choose the latter!

I have been in the studio every day for several weeks, winding up my new cd Open Invitation, and squeezing in gigs as they come along.

Last night I had a real firecracker of a gig with John Nolan and Chris Sigerson at the Fairview Pub... man. we were smokin'!  We hit the bebop books real hard, something I don't get to do as often as I'd like. I am rather partial to the sweet and funky flavor of contemporary jazz, but I do walk the line!

The weather is uncertain these days, but come join me for a warm and inviting Saturday eve at my ongoing haunt Ten Ten Tapas, where we will have some fabulous guests including LJ Mounteney and Gunther Klaus. I am unveiling my new tunes as we go along...

Be there or be square @ 7 pm, and rezzies are recommended. It is always a blast.

Tuesday we all honor the fallen and those who served to protect our freedom. Remembrance Day is a day of somber reflection. You can be a Hawk or a Dove, but you still owe a debt of gratitude to those who put their lives on the line.

By now you know that my Halloween TRICK was a bit late in coming, but the TREAT is that I will be performing this Thursday at the Fairview (B'way and Laurel St, Vancouver) from 7-10 pm with much more mature masters.
