Tomorrow, Thursday, is going to be sunny and mild at 9 degrees C, and that is such a great reason to head on out for the Rockin' The Ribjoint BluJazz night at Ten Ten Tapas. Music starts at 7 pm with my cohort, the wailing guitarist Adam Rohrlick, and we tailor the jazz more 'night time' with a blue and funky collection of tunes - I even added a dozen new ones! Check out the amazing BBQ ribs, and maybe try one of the unique bourbon cocktails created by the bar master. Even if you THINK you don't like bourbon, you will be more than surprised- and if you are already a bourbon fan, try the unique flights, where you can taste some of the most alluring bourbons on the scene. Music goes till the audience gets weak with delirium!!
Brunch at Ten Ten Tapas is going stronger than ever and I hope to see you there soon. The view is amazing, the food superb (with new, bigger plates, lol!) and a new bandstand so the sightlines are good from everywhere. The staff is geared up for the big crowds, and if you have been there and felt underserved, come on back- it's all good! My jazz is perfect for a leisurely brunch, so come and enjoy. Sundays start at 11:30, and are ongoing, so make it your hangout before jazz vespers or before a movie matinee. The weather will be nice this Sunday, so come on in- but just a reminder- the building is having an electrical upgrade on Jan 26 and will be dark that day only.
Ten Ten has been handed the jazz torch, and is now the ONLY jazz joint in Vancouver with great live music 5 nights a week! Supporters are always needed, and a jazz family has grown large and strong... come be part of it! Music starts at 7 pm, except for Sundays, which is 11:30 am....
